Underwater Hockey

Dear Underwater Hockey friends,

We are pleased to announce that this year we will be running the FIRST underwater hockey competition ever in Parma.

The exact date is still to be confirmed but it will be likely: May 24^th. The organization team is the same one that held the competitions in Firenze last 2 years. Much fun, lots of friends and everything surrounded by our own city environment.

The Olympic outdoor swimming pool (2 meters deep), you can see in the picture below, is perfect for this competition. The size of the heated water pool allows every team to play lots of matches in the two available playing areas.

We are planning to split the competition into male/female rounds: a woman’s tournament would take place if the number of the female teams permits the set it up.

After the matches we are going to have a prize-giving party. For sure, it will be accompanied by fantastic Italian food, drinks and good music. We are currently arranging group accommodation (hostel, hotel, camping) in order to provide you with cheep facilities close to the swimming pool.
