2009 l’été meurtrier!
Après la mort de Gerald Muller et Emmanuel  LUYCKX  l’été 2009 laissera aucune chance à Ewirn POST.

I as a Frenchman will remember Erwin for his principles. As a sportsman and as a referee he would always stand fast and back what he believed in. Truth and honor is something he will always be remembered for on many different continents of the World ... something we as the French can relate to. We know his son Bart (many time French national champ) and we know 'Like Father Like Son' ..."
Erwin:


I know Erwin well and as I said the most ourstanding features are:
that he is a sport educated man – physiotherapist, he is a man of very strong principle.
He was a referee that did a lot for the sport and the young guys. (SA CAPT of U10 WC08) young captain wrote about how he always wished them luck before a game and congratulated them after the games at Worlds. He even sent a photo of Erwin greeting him.
He did a lot of work in UWH committees and was even on the CMAS committee.
He was a prominent UWH politician in Holland.
He did a lot for the Dutch team physiotherapy and rules information.
His sons are just like him ..... so if one does not know Erwin just look at Bart and Wijnand .... always helping others and always loyal to the end
